Follow these rules to get your bridal glow going.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-you-should-do\"><strong>What You <em>Should<\/em> Do<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Prep at least 24 hours in advance of your tan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShaving and exfoliating open your pores, so doing this day before ensures they are closed back up and skin has the chance to rejuvenate leaving a clean slate for the tan application. Don\u2019t shower right before spray tan either since your tan won&#8217;t take as well&nbsp;on damp skin.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Book your tan two days before your event\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlthough you can sometimes tan in as little as two hours, full development of your tan can take from 24-48 hours. Working in advance leaves room to get two showers in to ensure you have completely rinsed off the bronzer. In the worst-case scenario, we have wiggle room to do a touch-up if needed.\u201d &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Invest in proper after-care products to maintain your glow &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019ve invested in a spray tan, you\u2019ll want to spend a bit more on the right product products to ensure even fade and even extend your tan a few more days. The best rule of thumb is the more natural the better. I have a line of spray tan-safe products called&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tanontherun.com\/store-c1kzf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">OhSo<\/a>, and our soap is only four ingredients for example.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading question\" id=\"h-what-you-should-not-do\"><strong>What You Should <em>NOT<\/em> Do<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Go darker than your skin tone can handle\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe all want to look as tan as possible but choosing a shade that looks realistic on your skin tone will make the difference between a natural look and leaning on the side of orange.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Layer your spray tan&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;You\u2019ll want the first tan to completely come off so you can start fresh on the next one since overlapping tans can cause uneven fading. This is especially&nbsp;important when doing a tan for a wedding where a clean canvas is a must.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Pick your spray tan artist based on price alone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChoosing someone with the proper experience is important. Consider it the same as your makeup or hair. You want it to look flawless!
